My name is Connor McMahon. Here’s a little bit about me. I am always trying to be someone my teammates can always look towards to give them hope especially against adversity. I try to be someone my teammates can lean on, on the field but off it as well. I was elected to be one of the Varsity Captains as a Junior. In addition to my love of soccer, I am a varsity track and field athlete, which helps me stay fit for soccer. I also volunteer for Special Olympics Massachusetts as a part of the games management team for summer games. I have been involved with Special Olympics for over 10 years and the athletes always inspire me. I wanted to get involved beyond volunteering, so I became a unified partner on the MLS New England Revolution Unified Soccer team. The Unified team is supported by the MLS, the NE Revolution and Special Olympics and is made up of individuals with and without intellectual disabilities. I fell in love with movement because when others see disability I see only ability. I look forward to taking my talents and personality into the next phase of my life.
