Andrew Medeiros '24 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my entire life, soccer has been my main passion, my favorite thing to do in the world. I have always wanted to play at the next level and considered it a goal to keep driving towards. The ability to take my passion to the next level and prove to myself and any who doubt that I can do what I set my mind to. After a heartbreaking playoff loss last year I first hand saw the tears and emotions of the seniors who's playing careers ended that day. I could never imagine simply hanging up my cleats after high school and once again made the commitment to do whatever it takes to put myself in the position to play past high school. I think my best trait for a team and as a player is my coach-ability. I will heed whatever advice to be better or help the team, no arguments. I also pepper the coaching staff, captains, and my teammates with questions on what they need me to do to help us. I also have a hunger to play and earn my role on any team.  At the end of the last year, I took the initiative to call a meeting with my coaches to ask what I needed to improve on in the summer to get better next season. I took all that advice and worked all summer and have earned my way into becoming a key contribute for my team. I promise you no other recruit will go to the lengths to play than I and I leave nothing in my tank. In my eyes the only person who can stop me is myself. I also pride myself on leadership on and off the field and have taken many initiatives in school and academics to show my leadership qualities.
