During my first two years as a three sport high school athlete, I have had many personal achievements and team accomplishments. I was pulled up to the Varsity level during my freshman year after excelling at the JV level. After getting some varsity playing time, I was able to learn and adapt to the different playing environment. This lead to a successful season, but a short playoff run. This short run also taught me what to expect in the highest level of playing.
My sophomore year I was given the opportunity to start for varsity up top at striker. We made a deep playoff run but were defeated in penalties in the Western Mass finals. On top of a successful high school season, I excelled at the club level. I was able to lead my team in scoring and play alongside a great group of teammates. We were able to win the state cup and receive and invite to nationals. Throughout my second season of high school and club, I learned the necessities of team work, dedication and perseverance. I want a program that will benefit me athletically and academically. I feel that I have what it takes to work and compete at the highest of levels.
