2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Growing up I had always set my goals high and strive to be the best I can be. After starting softball 12 years ago I knew it was what I wanted to spend my life doing. When it comes to softball I always stick to my favorite saying "play for the name on the front of the jersey and make them remember the name on the back". You play to represent the team and a team is not one person it is everyone involved including both coaches and teammates. I am different from other student athletes because I currently go to 2 different high schools everyday. I attend my home school which is West Springfield and then in the afternoon I go to the Lower Pioneer Valley Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC). This school is for 7 different school districts in my area to give us the oppertunity to learn vocational programs while going to our own homeschool everyday. While I am at CTEC I study one trait which is Machine Technology. This field intrests me and can help me and my future goals to become a mechanical engineer. Through this program I can get different certifications to help me in this line of work in the future. I feel by being enrolled in this program will give me a head start with my academics in college.
