Ever since I started playing soccer at the age of 4, I have always told my family I am going to become a professional player one day and make them proud. However, there was a time in my life where I wanted to quit playing because of my fathers passing in the 4th grade. He was the reason I got into soccer and why I love the game so much. When he passed, I just could not believe it and wanted to forget about soccer because he passed away during one of his matches. I realized that this is not what he would want me to do. He would want me to go and make a name for myself and to continue chasing my dreams and that is what I am doing. I really try to get my name out there from putting in the extra work off the field. I am trying to to get as far as I can make it so I can make my mom's life a lot easier because I just want to give the world back to her for all she has done for me over the years.
Playing soccer has helped me realize that I am a persistent person and will do whatever it takes to get to my goals. This is the same when I am in a classroom. I am determined to be the best possible student I can and to make sure I get good grades otherwise I would be failing myself. I am looking for a college program that will not only be very competitive on the field but also competitive in the classroom so I can continue to challenge myself.
