I live and breathe soccer. Originally a center back, I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I made the Varsity High School Soccer team my freshman year - the only freshman to make the team . I quickly transitioned from center back to starting left back and while left backs don't usually score, I soon scored a goal. Our season progressed with winning Districts, Regionals and advancing to the State Semi finals where we were eliminated. It was a great first year of High School Soccer.
Sophomore year of high school soccer, - I was back to my club soccer position of Center back. After loosing 13 Seniors from the previous years team we were not expecting much being a young team. However, that quickly changed and we began winning game after game. In fact, we ended up having an undefeated season up until Districts when we were eliminated. I however was named to the All Catholic League Team and the All District 1st Team that year.
Junior year of high school soccer - I was once again a starting Center back. It was the third year in a row of an undefeated season. Cranbrook Soccer was the winner of its District Final, the Regional Final and we advanced to the State Semi-finals the second time in the last 3 years where we were defeated.
I was named to the All Catholic League team, All District 1st Team and Allstate 2nd team. What I am most proud of this year was being recognized by my teammates for my outstanding defensive play, work ethic and leadership on and off the field by being named the MVP of my high school team.
Senior year of high school did not quite end how we as a team anticipated but nevertheless I once again received the following awards this year: All State Second Team, All Region First Team, All District First Team and All Catholic League.
But the highlight of my Senior year of Soccer ended with me being named the Division 2 Defensive Player of the year, voted by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association!
I have been captain of my club team, Liverpool LFC - MI from age 11. Most recently I was recognized by the US Youth Soccer National Leagues Midwest division as one of its top defenders for the Spring season 2019. Every time I walk onto the field my only focus is to play to the BEST of my ability and win.
My dream since I was a little boy was to play College soccer at the highest level possible. I hope to pursue an education with a major in Psychology while also playing college soccer. I believe that my speed, passing skills and vision downfield set me apart from most players. I feel that I would be a tremendous asset to any college team looking for an aggressive and dedicated player.
