My soccer journey began when I was 3 years old, when my parents signed me up for recreational soccer. Since then, I have played with many clubs and have learned many skills and ways of playing from different coaches. This allowed me to play in multiple positions; attacking midfield, midfield, defensive midfield, and center back. I had the experience to play for the national Rush Select team which was invited to play in Italy against well-known teams. In high school, I played varsity as a freshmen where we won the state championship for Division 3 and sophomore year when we placed second for the state championship.
Academically my current GPA does not reflect the real me. As Covid-19 hit in my freshmen year along with the chaos of switching from in-person to online classes, my GPA was badly affected. In the last 2 years I received over a 3.8 while taking 2 difficult AP classes (Calculus and World History). I did this with pride and a desire to improve myself while playing at the highest level of soccer, driving 1 hour to practice and back, 4-7 days a week. For my senior year, I am committed to improving myself academically and athletically.
I am hoping to play for a competitive program where the team competes day in and day out and has a team-first mentality.
