I started rowing my freshman year, during the spring season. I joined the team late because it was just a friend's suggestion, but looking back I am grateful that I joined since I have found my passion. I plan to continue my fall and spring rowing throughout all of high school, and hope to persue it in college. I am a very dedicated athlete, and I have not missed a practice once since I have joined. Everyday, even our early 5am practices, I give it my all and put in the work so that I can better myself, and be what's best for my team.
In school, I am in my sophomore year and have a GPA of 3.6. Next year, I plan to take my education to the next step and join more AP classes, including AP Literature, and AP Euro.
Along with rowing, I'm a part of the drum line as a snare drum in the marching band, and hope to carry that into Lake Effect Percussion, a WGI group for indoor winter drum line. I also have my varsity letter for competetive cheer, and I have been cheering since second grade.
