My name is Luca Platt. I am 17 years old, and I am a Junior in high school. I have been working intensively for a chance to play in college since freshman year. I put in hard work on the field, and in the classroom. I go to Benilde-St.Margaret's high school, a private college-prep school in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. I get numerous great opportunities at BSM for high-quality soccer and academics. My parents have always done an exceptional job keeping me up to standards in school. Although, as I've gotten older, I've discovered that I am able to manage my academics and sports much more on my own. I work hard training for soccer five or six times a week, whether it's for high school, club, ODP, or in the weight room. Soccer is an extensive part of my life. I enjoy playing the beautiful game, and being with my teammates. All of us together playing the game we love is what inspires me to want to further my soccer career. When I am on the field I often see myself as a leader. I make sure to bring my teammates up, while at the same time giving them pointers if they might be struggling. I put a lot of time and effort into soccer, and am repaid by being able to play this game all soccer players love!
