My first exposure to the game of soccer was as a preschooler(probably age 4). I played in a rec league through the local YMCA. Even at that early age, I didn't follow along with the swarm of other kids. I hung out and waited for the ball to pop loose and then I would rush down and score a goal! As I got older I had more experiences with friends at church who really had a passion for the game of soccer. I officially started playing through Prior Lake Soccer Club as a fourth grader. It has been non-stop ever since! Aspects of who I am are being a team player, respectful, I honor the game and those involved, commitment and integrity. I have also learned how to persevere in tough situations not only on the playing field but in my life as well. One other unique characteristic I believe I possess is a vision to see the whole game and what needs to be accomplished.
I would like to continue working hard in all of my classes so I continue to get good grades. As an incoming ninth grader I am not positive of what I might want to pursue in college. I am hoping that through my classes over the next few years I might get a better feel of what my strengths might be so that I can push harder for those types of classes. Some testing that was done in eighth grade showed that I might have an interest in Computer Engineering. I have also done well in my math and science classes.
