It has been my goal to play soccer in college since I was very young. Soccer has taught me consistency, focus, teamwork and discipline. I block out time for homework, workouts, nutrition and practice my soccer skills daily. I am varsity team captain at school, play club and have had one on one training with a few semi-professionals. I have been involved in my school community by serving as class president for the past three years, and have worked at our Community Center, High Blue. I enjoy encouraging my friends and teammates with challenges to eat better or train better to take us to the next level. I am a leader by example and show respect by being positive and giving my maximum effort. I play whatever position my coaches need. My sister played basketball for Quinnipiac University and was team captain as well. She is now a neonatal nurse practitioner. Following her example, I plan to major in the medical field in sports medicine or exercise science and then pursue a degree in physical therapy after. I am taking steps to graduate Cum Laude. I would travel anywhere that I can play soccer in college, and that also has a strong academic program.
