During the Fall 2023, I enrolled in the University of Missouri online high school (NCAA accredited). It was clear I couldn’t maintain my academic standards and my goals in soccer while traveling 2+ hours to my club team 3-4 times per week. Online high school was a sacrifice, but it allowed me to maintain my GPA while going to the gym in the morning and my club in the afternoon. After four trips to Germany to train/trial with different academies, I knew that I had to make changes to achieve my dream of playing Division 1 and professional soccer. What I learned early in 2025 is that you have to be ready to take advantage of any opportunity. Following an open tryout, I was invited to preseason on January 27, 2025 with Westchester SC of the USL-1. Following six weeks of pre-season I accepted the first academy contract at Westchester SC. It hasn't been easy and the first couple of weeks were very difficult, but I kept my head up, my mouth shut, and kept working hard, As preseason continued some of the veterans, including Andrew Jean Babtiste, became mentors to me about what it means to be a pro on and off the field. I'm blessed to be given this opportunity and I work and learn every day. How my coaches describe me in the US and abroad are the best examples of me as a person and athlete, including coachable, versatile, technical, athletic, hardworking and a student of the game. As I begin the college process, I know that my experiences and choices have made me stronger and prepared me for top level college athletics and academics.
