Samuel Greenberg '26 Recruiting Profile

During the Fall 2023, I enrolled in the University of Missouri online high school.  I made this choice to maintain my academic standards and train twice a day while traveling 2+ hours to my club team 3-4 times per week.  What I learned early in 2025 is that you have to be ready to take advantage of any opportunity.  Following an open tryout, I accepted the first academy contract at Westchester SC (USL-1).  Over the tenth month season, I drove 2+ hours each way, 4-5 times a week where I trained and played with MLS, European, and D1 athletes.  I was rostered 10+ times and made my pro debut.  My coaches describe me as coachable, versatile, technical, athletic, hardworking and a student of the game.  I know that my experiences and choices have made me stronger and prepared me for top level college athletics and academics.
