I have been playing soccer for 11 years. I am 15 years old and 5'5. My dad is the one who got me into soccer. He would watch games on TV so that got me hooked. He also played college soccer in Nigeria and also lived in Pakistan and played soccer for fun. I first started to play academy soccer in 2016. Before that, I played competitive soccer when I was 11-14 years old. I really started to get serious about soccer when I was going into high school as a freshman. There I realized that so many of the upperclassmen where very good and that they worked hard to get to the highest level they can. My freshman year I aimed for JV. I almost made it but in the last few minutes of tryouts I got put back on the freshman C team. This made me angry and disappointed. I used these emotions to put me back up and work harder. That season with C team, I scored 9 goals and made 9 assists. Our record was 16-1-2. The following winter I joined a club named Summit Soccer Club and I left from Sporting Lee's Summit. We were in MRL(Missouri Regional League) and the Missouri State Cup. In MRL we finished 0-3-7. In State Cup we finished 0-1-2. Right now I am training at my high school for tryouts and the season. I am going to shoot for varsity. Colleges I'm interested in are colleges in Missouri. I would like to stay in the state.
