Blake Weiner '21 Recruiting Profile

I am an extremely hardworking student athlete. I attend an very selective high school, which has been ranked one of the best high schools in New Jersey. Despite my school’s demanding workload and my involvement in 2-3 different sports per year, I have managed to maintain honor roll throughout my entire high school career. I am also a  member of my school’s National Honor Society. As per soccer, I am a starter on my high school team, and have been for the past two years. I have a combined 10 goals and 10 assists from my Sophomore and Junior year on varsity. I was named the “Offensive Player of the Year” for my team in 2018, ”Most Valuable Player“ in 2017, and made it onto the “All County Team” in 2019. Despite recently joining a new Club Team, I have been promoted to “Captain” of the team after one season of playing with them, due to my dedication. I have dreams of playing Soccer in College not only for a good Soccer team, but for an academically sound university. Colleges should want me because I am truly in love with the game of soccer; so much so that I even donate hours of my week towards training younger soccer players, as well as coaching a U-12 soccer team. I carry myself with dignity and integrity, and if chosen to represent your team, promise to outwork all of my competitors, both on the pitch and in the classroom.
