Winston Hennings '23 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Winston Hennings, an honors student at Sussex County Technical High School in Sparta NJ.  Currently I am taking a full honors course load in addition to my Architecture shop, and have a 4.34 GPA.  I have been playing soccer ever since I was little. When I entered high school I became part of the varsity team my freshman year as a starting mid fielder and learned a lot in my first two seasons. My junior year I served as captain of my team, a season where we saw the most success as a team in many years at our school. Personally I was named First Team All Conference and Second Team All NJ Herald. I am looking forward to building on my leadership, skills on the field, and team success in my senior year.

In the future I hope to attend a college to study math or computer science, both of which I can use to reach my goal of serving in the FBI. Currently I am a 5'11" right footed, 16 year old so I believe I still have room to grow and improve.  I am a midfielder who has many attributes in the game; I can control the pace of play, take 1v1 opportunities, make the correct pass, place free kicks in scoring positions, take corners, and take the shot when I need to. While I am out on the field I can play wherever and whenever the coach needs me to. I will work my hardest to get where I need to and will always try to improve.

When I am off the high school soccer field I like to take part in weight lifting which I have been actively doing for the past  three years, I snowboard at the local ski mountain, I am apart of Skills USA for my school, have a part time job, am an active member of The National Honor Society, part of the Technical Honor Society,   and as part of my local club team I continue to work on my soccer ability.
