Nathan Linden '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Nathan Linden! I'm an aspiring soccer player who attends Eastern Regional High School. I'm currently a sophomore and looking to expand my horizon to all schools possible. For however long I can remember, I've played soccer at a competitive level, whether it was with my older brothers and dad, or on the local town team. I grew up loving the sport for its fluidity, speed, and competitiveness. As a young boy, my older brother had been a main contributor to how I molded my game into what it is today. Watching him give his all at the highest of levels in high school gave me that fire in my stomach to prove I was just as good, if not better. To this day, I work on my craft from dusk to dawn, whether that be film, individual training, weight lifting, or just taking a moment to myself and reflect on past games. Primarily as midfielder, I believe my creativity, soccer iq, and the ability to lead are key factors to which add value to my game. Although, I like to believe that I am a extremely versatile player, as I have played center back when needed, both sides of midfield, and even striker here and there. A huge part of my game I would say, is my ability to uplift my teammates even if the score line may not be in our favor. This is key to every player, as team morale must stay high in tough and gloomy situations during a match, or otherwise, the daunting task of winning becomes less and less probable. As I said, I'm still a sophomore, and working everyday in order to play D1 and at the highest level possible.
