My name is Carl Jordan and I'm a student athlete. My passion and long-term goal is to run and represent the United States in the Olympics. I've been running since I was six years old. I started taking it seriously when I started middle school. I began to realize I had a skill when I broke track records for various events at Voorhees Middle School. Our team won the Track and Field Championship during my 8th grade year. In middle school, I ran the 800 meter in 56 seconds which I realize now was a good time for my level and age.
As I moved into high school, doors began to open up for me in Track and Field, and my passion and commitment became stronger. My high school track career is only getting better year by year. My 400m time when I was in middle school was a 56, and now I'm close to reaching 49. My Sophomore year culminated with me coming in first place and winning the title of ' Conference Champion" in the 400m, second place champion in my conference for the 200m and first place 400x4 relay conference champions.
My love for track is only matched by my work ethic and my dedication towards becoming a stronger athlete, and this is only the beginning of my story.
