Remi Cherkas '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello - My name is Remi Cherkas. I live in Voorhees, New Jersey. I have always had a strong passion for soccer and all sports. My friends and family are such a huge part of my life, and they have shaped me into the person and player I am today.

I play for Rusa FC G06 Girls team, as the starting outside back (National League PRO). I love to play in wide positions because I like being able to make runs and my speed can really add value to my team in these areas. As an outside defender, I am always prepared to step up and help defend higher up on the field. I work hard to provide cover for my teammates when needed and add value on both sides of the ball. I also play on the Eastern Regional High School Girls Varsity team as a starting center back. My ability to make strong tackles and quick thinking skills allow me to easily slide into a central position when I am needed. As a junior, I was awarded with several honors including First Team All Conference, Second Team All South Jersey, and Top 20 All State South Region. 

I am so glad that I get to play this sport year round and get to practice and improve every single day. It is my dream to get to play at the college level at a competitive and fit school for me. I look forward to having the chance to play in front of you.
