Personal Statement

Playing soccer has been my biggest passion since I began playing as a little kid. In May of 2017, prior to my upcoming senior season on varsity for my school, I injured my knee badly and it kept me out for about two and a half months. This was a setback but also a big period of growth for me as I worked harder than ever to regain my fitness and my goalkeeping skills. After my senior season, I won the sportsmanship award. I believe I have very good character, commitment, and a great work-ethic that is necessary at the college level. I am looking for a school that is a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. With my experience of playing at the goalkeeping position, I know I have what it takes to compete at the college level and be an important asset to your team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
