2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Academics and athletics continually help me to shape myself as an individual. I set high goal for myself in both aspects and push to succeed. In college, I am determined to play at a competitive level. This past soccer season, playing as a junior on varsity, has taught me some leadership skills and how to deal with adversity. I am not completely sure what I wish to major in, but I am leaning towards mathematics or finance.
I have played soccer for almost ten years, the last five on Premier travel teams. I'm currently playing with Albany Alleycats SC. I am motivated personally to do my best, always having a soccer ball near by. I realize I need to invest 100% to achieve my goals.
Sports help me balance myself. Time management and consistency are keys to success. I know that in order to do well in a class, you need to study. It's the same with soccer.
I feel that I am coachable and willing to learn in order to achieve my goals.
