Connor Corcoran '22 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember there has always been a soccer ball at my feet. The game of soccer has  developed into my passion as I've been growing  into a young man. Without a doubt my goal is to take my soccer career to the next stage and play at the collegiate level. I have been working towards this goal my entire life. Through the hard work and dedication I've put into becoming the player, student, and persona that I represent I'm ready to compete at the next level. I'm a great candidate for a collegiate soccer program due to the hard work I've put in to my game and life even when no one was watching. Once I decide on something I love and want to do for the rest of my life I will stop at nothing to achieve my goal.  My desire is to  help my  college team to success. I will always be willing to do the little things on and off the field no matter what as long as it means my team will flourish.  I have always been a team player . I'm different from other recruits in character due to my maturity and leadership. Ever since I was a young player,  I have  never been afraid to take initiative in a group situation on or off the field and lead my peers to where we want to be. A day has never gone by where I don't appreciate the hard work the people around me do for me, because I would not be where I'm at today if it wasn't for them. Through athletics and the beautiful game of soccer I'm beyond thankful for the opportunity that it has given me. I have always strived to be the hardest worker and most dedicated player I could possibly be. I have great knowledge and grit for the game I love and use it to my advantage against my opponents on the field. Academics have always been a huge part of my life as I wouldn't have a chance of playing at the next level without the grades I have been able to accumulate throughout my education.   Soccer has and will always be a piece of me as a person and athlete and I'm extremely excited to see where my talents can take me at the next level.
