I began playing soccer when I was three years old, have been playing all year round since I was 6, it's the only sport I've ever played and I've dedicated my entire life to soccer. I like playing anywhere up top best but can also play attacking mid or outside back. I am very good at beating players on the flanks and servicing accurate balls into my teammates. I am equally comfortable shooting and passing with both feet, I have always been one of the top goal scorers on the teams I've played on. I have been told I have a high soccer IQ, make good decisions, have an excellent first touch and speed of play. I am comfortable working in and out of tight spaces, I'm exceptional at taking balls out of the air with my head and have scored many times over the years with my head off corners and crosses.
I'm six feet tall and still growing. I am extremely focused on my school work, was a member of the Junior Honor Society, and am currently on the high honor roll. I have played for many different coaches and have been able to adapt to a lot of different systems. I'm coachable, am a good teammate and have traveled all over the country and Canada for many years and am really good at managing my soccer commitments and doing good in school at the same time. I feel like this experience has helped prepare to play in college at a high level and still do really good in the classroom.
My goal is to play on a team where I can make a difference as well as receiving a good education.
Thank you,
Jacob
