The three things I'm proud to say I prioritize are my family, schoolwork and athletics. In addition to being a three sport varsity starter, I am a low handicap golfer, work and caddy at a local golf course, play in my after school jazz band, and volunteer in my community. Finding the time to excel at multiple passions has taught me the value of hard work, persistence and time management.
One of my prominent characteristics as a person is the ability to learn by seeking out constructive criticism from not only my coaches and teachers, but also my teammates and peers alike. Taking a wide variety of AP and IB courses, I understand the importance and vigor that academics provide in enriching one's life, while maintaining the healthy balance to excel in all areas.
As I approach my college career, I look forward to shifting my athletic focus to soccer. Given my well rounded natural and trained athletic ability, time management skills, and work ethic, I believe I have greater untapped raw potential for improvement than most recruits due to my lack of specialization in one sport thus far. With this focus, hunger and proper coaching direction I believe I can be a valuable contributer to a top tier program both on and off the field.
