My first soccer experience at the age of five did not end well. I spent most of the time crying on the side lines. A year later after much convincing my parents gave me another shot at soccer and I have never looked back. Soccer has been a huge part of my entire life. I always sought out more competitive teams to improve my game, my skills and my soccer IQ. Some may consider my team hopping to be a negative, however with all the different play styles and coaching I've seen, I find this to be an advantage. Through doing so I've made many friends in the soccer community. Some I confidently call life long friends. I currently am captain of PMYSL United team, we are ranked 19th in the nation and 4th in the state of New York. My coaches have described me as a battery due to the energy I bring when I step on the field. I have a very competitive spirit that I've acquired from my dad. He was a Division1 football player at Hofstra University. He has always pushed me to be the best I can be on and off the field and I've just recently started to appreciate it.
My whole reputation revolves around soccer, wether its my friends, family or neighbors, they all can acknowledge my love for the game (especially my neighbors, i can't even count the balls I've kicked over into there yards). As the captain of my travel team PMYSL ranked 19th in the nation, my coaches would define me as a very energetic player who brings the team to the next level through hard work and passion. I've been on many teams since a young age which includes a year in the development academy(NY Cosmos). Many people would look at the team hopping and think its a negative, I've made many friends through soccer that i can confidently call life long friends. The soccer community on long island is a very close one that I've had the experience to play either along side or against. My experience with all different players is something i am very proud of, i find that i can adapt and connect with almost every type of player and i can't picture myself ever hurting a roster. I have had a very successful child hood with soccer and i am more then ready to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level.
