My goal for college is to decide whether I want to follow my aspirations to become a small animal Vet or to become a sports nutritionist/trainer and to see how far I can take my soccer career.
I've played Wing and Center Mid for my Club team and wing for for school varsity. I've also been learning to play the wing back position. My club team plays a very open style game that has allowed a great deal of movement and free play by the team, while still understanding our need to defend when we lose possession. These qualities and my desire to continue to learn the game make me a great candidate for your team.
I don't know if I'm different than other recruits but I'm well liked in school by athletes and non-athletes. I feel I have a very wide range of friends and enjoy spending time with all of them. My dad has always told me that I should treat everyone the same and I try to live my life that way. I've always been a sports nut. As I've gotten older I've gotten into a weekly routine of running, working out and getting touches on a soccer ball. My other big sport is Alpine Ski racing but my love is soccer.
As far as academics, I have a fluency and decoding issue that had me classified with an IEP. I've worked hard to overcome my learning disability and just this year I've been declassified. I think what helped me to overcome my disability was to find alternative ways to get my homework done on time and take and pass tests, all with high marks. I currently have a 90.7 mid third quarter GPA.
