Oliver Voutsinas-Klose '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a prospective Class of 2025 high school graduate from Nyack, New York.  This is my third year playing for the Nyack High School Varsity soccer team.  I am currently Senior captain and last year I was the only Junior captain of the team.  

For my club team, I played soccer with World Class FC (based out of Orangeburg NY) from U8-U17.   The last several years I played on the World Class FC ECRL team.  This year, I am switching clubs and I will play with Manhattan SC, also on their ECRL team.  I usually play in a defensive position (usually RB/CB/CDM) but I have played in most positions on the field over the years.  

I also play on my school's Varsity Tennis team.  

I am 6'2'' and weigh approximately 185 pounds.

My love for the game of soccer has been the driving factor for my interest in becoming a collegiate athlete. I want to continue to improve my game and I am always looking for opportunities to do this such as attending clinics and camps and practicing on my own.  Over the summer of 2022, I went to England to play soccer over the summer and over the summer of 2023, I went to France to hone my soccer skills.   I am particularly inspired by my sister and my father, who are/were both Division I collegiate athletes.  

My determination and drive not only make me a good athlete but a good student as well.   I am always striving to challenge myself both in the classroom and on the field.  As a Junior, I took 4 AP classes and over my Senior year, I plan to take 5 AP classes.   I have always made the high honor roll.

I also am very involved in my school and participate in many other extra-curricular activities.  For example, I am Senior Class President and I am also one of 4 student body members to be chosen for Nyack Nation which is a leadership team which promotes Nyack Athletics.  In addition, I am President of the Youth and Government Club, a graduate of Teen Leadership Rockland, and a graduate of the Orangeburg Youth Court training program, among other things.
