2018 Highlights Personal Statement
I'm a 5'9'' central defensive midfielder from Chapel Hill, NC. I have started on the East Chapel Hill High Varsity Soccer team for 2 years and earned all-conference and MVP of the team during my senior year. I also have a 3.8 GPA along with a 1470 SAT and 32 ACT. I have been playing soccer since I was 4, and since then I have always dreamed of playing professional soccer. While I might not be the loudest player on the field I'm definitely the most active, I always pay attention to my surroundings keeping aware of where my teammates are at all times so that I can be in the best spot to provide cover for them.
My ideal college would be somewhere close to home that also challenges me academically and athletically. I'm completely fine with not playing on the field, as long as I am able to make a clear impact on the team. I believe that I would be able to show my full potential at a DII or DIII school.
