Hello my name is Miguel Barron , I started playing soccer back in 2007 at the age of nine. I was sitting in the stands of a local sports complex not to far from where I live at , enjoying and watching the game. I notice the goalkeeper position and thought to my self that's so cool just trying to do everything you can to keep the ball from into the net. I begged my mom to put me on a team and she sign me up for tryouts for a local team called steel creek. Unfortunately I didn't make it but it didn't stop once I start I must keep going until I secede. I sat in my room watching goalkeeper techniques just the basics of being a goalkeeper. I played in leagues for a soccer complex called sports connection from kids leagues up till I was thirteen playing with the over eighteen men's league, I won 3 championships until I finally had the confidence and my parents had the ability to put me in a club. I played for for charlotte united for one season and had a great season with them till next season switching over to the Carolina rapids. I also played soccer for my school Ardrey Kell high school. Having a learning diciblitiy effects me a lot not being able to play freshman year because of my grades but still it didn't stop me. My parents got me help and I tried harder leading up to me making the varsity team sophomore year. I love soccer it helps me achieve what I want to accomplish, role at home as son a future high school graduate leading all to being a great strong young man. Just like the great all American said back in high school " IT will take a nation of millions to hold me back " - Tim Howard - . I'm a seventeen year old sophomore high school student willing to take on what it takes to become a successful role model and a great athlete.
