I am a 3 star recruit on Top Drawer Soccer. I will also be playing for U17 CSA Predator this year.
I am a very versatile player. I made All-Conference as a sophomore by playing half the season as outside back and half the season as center attacking mid. On my club teams I have played both wings, both outside mids, center forward, and all central midfield positions. I am an all-A's student with a mix of AP and Honors classes as a sophomore so the first thing I am looking for in a school is their academic standards. I have been the captain on every one of my last 5 teams(excluding ODP) and I have just earned Junior Class President for my school which means I will now be my class' president for 3 years. I love being a leader on and off the field because I want to be able to set an example that people can follow. I also do lots of charity work. I do soup kitchens, little things around my school, work with the Interact Club, and now I am trying to make my school do more service projects. I am a Christian and that is the most important thing in life to me. Everyday I strive to be the best person I can be so that people can see that I am a Christian. I also tutor elementary kids at my school for the majority of the school year. I try to keep myself well rounded so hopefully I will be able to earn Academic scholarships if I cannot earn a soccer scholarship.
I work very hard at soccer and I am starting to see myself grow as a player. I used to be just an okay player but when one of my best friends made the Charlotte Soccer Academy team I realized that there was no reason I should be so far behind him in my ability. I worked very hard all last Summer and my ability has gotten extraordinarily better. I expect myself to be an All-State player this year and then I want to be an All-American or make the academy team.
I want to play college soccer and then go on to play professional soccer. Then I will come back and coach youth teams and help soccer advance in the US.
Yours Truly,
Dylan Ritch
