Soccer has been one of the few consistent things in my life. As the youngest of six kids in a military family, I've moved a lot and been on soccer teams in multiple different states. I first started specializing in the position of goalkeeper around 9 years old. Prior to that, I had played recreational soccer on various military bases where we were stationed. Around that time, I attended a soccer workshop in Richmond, VA, where the head coach sought me out for their club team, to which I promptly accepted; this decision marked the beginning of my competitive soccer career. My mother commited to the almost daily 1.5 hour journey to the facility in order that I could train and play with F.C. Richmond. That experience sparked my true love for soccer. I was then asked to attend goalkeeper training, which turned out to be led by Ryan Taylor, who was actively playing GK professionally for the Richmond Kickers. I was so inspired! Growing up moving annually always meant starting over and having to earn my respect as the new kid on the team, which meant going to multiple trainings a day, going on runs, and ultimately just putting in the work. Throughout my career, I have always been homeschooled, but when we moved to Ohio, I found out that homeschoolers were permitted to try out for high school athletics. Granted, Centerville has a huge school system and were Division I State Runner-Ups the year prior, so I wasn't sure what my chances would be for making the team coming in as a nobody, but I decided to give it a shot, thinking maybe I could at least make the JV-A or JV-B teams. I tried out and was ecstatic to be selected for Varsity as a 14-year-old Freshman! The last couple of years I've truly enjoyed training with that team and also have worked my way up to starting for the top team of my age group with the Ohio Galaxies Club team. I try my best to balance soccer with other things in my life that I'm also passionate about. I enjoy working with my hands doing blacksmithing and also building projects. I've gone on 3 mission trips over the past couple of years helping with construction in impoverished areas of Ecuador and Guatemala. Aside from these interests, I have also kept up with my studies. I have already recieved an Associate’s in Science from Sinclair Community College and intend on finishing another one before graduating from high school in May of 2026.
