Alexander Perrini '20 Recruiting Profile

My passion is soccer and my goal is to continue to play at the college level. I am a motivator and very consistent athlete who always shows up ready to play. My statistics in terms of goals and assists, do not represent what I truly bring to the table. As the Center MidFielder, I create opportunities for our team to be in a position to score. I bring a competitive advantage by the pure amount of work that I put in during our practices and ultimately in the game. I am a leader on and off the pitch and make every effort to perform at the highest level. My determination, aggressiveness, and competitiveness earned me a varsity position on our A1 high school team as a freshman. Through intense focus and practice, I successfully earned playing time and positioned myself to start towards the end of the season. The dedication I demonstrated led to a starting center midfield varsity position for my sophomore year and was recognized with the coaches award. I am a leader on my club team where I earned the appointment as captain four times by my teammates. Academically I am challenged with a rigorous class schedule composed of mostly honors courses and a current 3.8 GPA. In college, I want to pursue my interest in the business school. I know that I must continue to perform at my best while balancing my academics and athletics in order to achieve my goals and pursue my dreams. I can't imagine life without soccer, it is a necessity.
