I was born in Trinidad & Tobago and moved to Canada when I was 3. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life ever since I started playing at the age of 7. I have been playing soccer consistently for 10 years now playing at the highest level for youth soccer in Ontario.
I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a major in a sport related field or psychology and to play soccer at the highest level possible. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team.
Playing soccer has helped me develop strong communication skills that enable me to work with others towards a shared goal. Such skills will be invaluable in my future endeavors and essential to success, which is why I view playing collegiate sports as an investment I will make in myself. Soccer is part of my life; I love to play, it keeps me healthy and I see it as opening doors for me to further my education while continuing to play the sport I love. I am committed to putting the same effort and drive I have in playing the game of soccer into my academics. I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
FYI: My NCAA # is 1602427697
