The determination and dedication seen through the efforts of my parents has influenced me as a player and a person to continue striving towards success. I am fortunate enough to have the financial means to play football abroad in countries such as Mexico and Spain. This has opened up my world with perspective because many children do not play the sport due to the lack of support from their family. 

I began playing the beautiful sport of football since a young age while taking into consideration my academic goals. My football team went through a rough patch because for a couple years we did not win any trophies. I learned valuable lessons on and off the pitch to increase the intensity of my work ethic and show my leadership through communication. The sport has taught me not to take it for granted because the only person that can push you into becoming a better footballer is yourself.
