I possess the attributes of a great leader, such as discipline, organization and motivation. Like a shark, I need to keep moving and I find that my physical and mental health is sharpened through exercise and playing soccer. I am committed to a five day soccer training schedule and a daily exercise routine. I have been playing soccer since the age of six and have played at the rep or academy level for over five years. I have lead previous teams to two league championships. As my team’s captain I am responsible for setting the tone of the team. I have been told by coaching staff that I am a positive influence in teamplay, pushing my teammate’s skills and being an example of leadership on and off the field.
Scholastically, while I am not the top in my class, I approach my studies with enthusiasm, working hard to accomplish good grades. When I do understand a subject, I enjoy supporting classmates in learning the concept or new skill. I would like to pursue a university degree in a human relations field like Sociology or Psychology where my empathetic nature could be harnessed. I am an active participant in school groups and teams, including leadership, soccer and volleyball. In addition to my drive athletically, I am proud of my inclusive and kind approach to people and get enjoyment out of being a helper to others.
