Jovan Nairne '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jovan Nairne. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 and it was always my goal to play at the collegiate and pro levels.

I am currently in my second semester of Grade 12 at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. I will be a part of the 2024 graduating class. My current grade average through Grade 12 is a 3.7 GPA. I play soccer at North Toronto Soccer Club, this past season I played League 1 reserves U19 and U21 for this 2023 season U21. I was invited to a trial for TFC Academy in 2016, and a Team Ontario Provincial Screening in 2019. I am a 6’1 Centre back who can also play the fullback position, and I am a very diverse player, who is dominant in both positions. 

I am not looking for just a university but a home. I am looking for a school that maintains high soccer and academic standards and provides a good program to new players for the student-athlete living style. I believe I can add real quality to any roster because of my technical ability on the ball and my leadership. 

I was in and out of injury in my 2021 & 2022 seasons. Because of this, I have added three highlight tapes below, which include my 2020, 2021, and Sigma Showcase highlight tapes. I have also included my player resume.
