Japheth Wood '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I first kicked a soccer ball I’ve been in love with the game. I wake up thinking about soccer and go to sleep thinking about soccer. If I’m not playing it I’m watching it, I just have a real passion for the sport. Which has lead to me playing for over 10 years. Every team I’ve played for I have always had some sort of leadership role on the team. Whether it being a captain or a role model. The leadership aspect has always been a part of me.

In school I always strive for the highest marks. I always give it my all just like when I’m on the pitch. School has always been an important part of my life because I know if soccer doesn’t work. I will always be able to fall back on my education. 

These are the attributes I am looking for in schools. I want to go to an institute that has a passion for soccer while at the same time having a great education system. I want the school to better me as a soccer player so I can hopefully end up playing professionally while at the same time making me a better person as well. Just give me the chance to prove myself and I won’t fail you.
