Josepher Juarez-Cruz '21 Recruiting Profile

My dream as a young athlete is to play in college and hopefully go professional.  However, that is not my purpose in my life. My purpose is that one day I’ll be able to take my family and move forward in life. The only way to do that is by going to college. My family doesn’t have a lot of money to send me to college for 4 years. That’s why playing soccer is my ticket to going to college. What makes me a good candidate is that I do what I am told without any questions asked. Whether that be in practice, games, or if a coach tells me to do something. I do it because I have full confidence in the coach. What makes me different from other recruiters is that I work hard in everything I want. I’m the type of person who won’t stop working until the job is done. With athletics, I want to be the best whether that be getting the starting position on a team. In school, I work hard to get good grades. Good grades is what matters to me in school. Nothing else matters to me.
