My name is Roan Harrington. I am a class of 2024 graduate, which is my true graduating year (DOB 1/25/06). My current goal is to play college soccer at a high level.
I believe I am different from many other recruits because of the care I have put into my soccer development. Over the last 4-5 years, I found a number of different ways to improve my overall game while playing up in the 2005 age group, both my fundamentals and my soccer IQ. I enjoy training and playing, and often look for extra opportunities even when my primary team schedule allows. I rarely take any extended time off. At the same time, I have also played basketball and baseball to stay well-rounded even though soccer is my next level goal. I also like to watch and learn from the best leagues and players in the world. The hard work has paid off so far, including open offers to play or train with other club teams.
I am in game ready condition at all times and have a high work rate and can play a number of different positions although I play mostly at central midfield. With my skill development has come greater confidence to be more vocal, demand the ball and take opposing players on in the final 1/3. I am competitive and play every game like a league or cup championship. I have worked hard to keep grade my grades high as well.
I believe starting the college recruiting process early gives me the best chance to find the best college for me and to locate the best camps and IDs for me to attend in the process.
