Beckham Boomershine '22 Recruiting Profile

    My father played college soccer and coached the sport for many years; therefore, growing up there was always a soccer ball at my feet.  I tried other sports including baseball and basketball but always returned to soccer.  Playing the other field positions was fun but at eleven years old I stepped into the goal and never turned back.  Goalkeeping has taught me to be both focused and composed.  Playing on high-level teams with players from around the world has taught me to adapt and learn to effectively communicate on the field.  I hope to pursue my love of soccer In college and beyond while exploring my engineering interests.  My desire to constantly improve my knowledge and skill in the game coupled with my team approach makes me a great fit for your program.
