My name is Nolan Baker. I am a Senior at Brandon Valley High School in South Dakota and I play for the 2004/05 Thunderbolts. Last high school season (Junior year) I started every game at Central Midfielder and led my team in assists with 8 in 16 games. So far this year (Senior year) I am the second leading scorer and tied for most assists. I want to go to a college that has a good soccer program to continue my soccer dreams and a major that is either biology or pre-med. I would be a good candidate for any team because I always work hard and listen to my coaches, and I am a positive leader. I work on being a better player almost every single day, whether that be through foot skills, conditioning, lifting weights, or watching tape. I have a high soccer IQ, I can see things that many other players might not be able to see, and I am good at communicating these things with my teammates. Whatever position my coach tells me to play I can play it, even though I usually only play CAM, CDM, or a true CM. My academics are good as I am a good student and get good grades, my GPA is 3.6. I have passion and love for this game and I have and will work hard to become the best player I can possibly be.
