My name is David Ilunga, and I am a class of 2026 international student at Freeman Academy who is passionate about soccer and seeking opportunities to continue my academic and athletic journey at the collegiate level.
As a player, I bring to the field a blend of technical skills, tactical awareness, and a strong work ethic. Throughout my soccer career, I have dedicated myself to mastering the role of a center midfielder, focusing on controlling the game's tempo, creating scoring opportunities, and fostering strong team cohesion when playing youth soccer in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Additionally, my international background has exposed me to different styles of play and has instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and teamwork.
In the classroom I study hard to maintain a good GPA. I try my hardest in the classroom too as it is one of my goals to graduate with an engineering degree.
I want to attend the college level where I can push myself on and off the field. I am open too all options as I am looking forward to find the correct match for me.
