Hello, my name is Cloy McVey. I aspire to continue my soccer career at the highest level possible. No matter what program I am at I want to succeed. I am a big believer that winning takes a whole group effort especially in the game of soccer. That being said I bring many strong individual talents that will contribute to the success of the team. One of these attributes is I am a workhorse. I strive to be the hardest worker on the field and do whatever I need to help the team toward the ultimate goal. I am a fast learner so I am able to adapt to new things quickly. In terms of athleticism, I am a great prospect. I am tall, strong, and fast. If I had to compare myself to a professional player, I would say my profile is close to Erling Haaland. I use my strength to dominate challenges. With my speed I am able to quickly take on players 1v1 but also get the ball quickly to where it needs to go. My height is very important so that I am able to win balls in the air and score off headers. Finally, I take my academics very seriously. I currently hold a 4.0 and enjoy being in school. Both my parents are teachers, so they have taught me how to become a lifelong learner. This attribute has helped me know that there is always something that I can improve or change to be the best student-athlete possible. I would put my attributes up against any other prospect because I believe that I can be the very best.
