Haziel Cisneros '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Haziel Cisneros, I am a student at Brownsville Early College High School in Brownsville, Texas. I currently play left/right back and striker for my club team Matambu Ceffar.

I've been through a lot in my life, growing up I struggled in finding what I wanted to be growing up, that was until I discovered the sport of Soccer. Although I started later than most other kids, I am determined to work hard not only for my self but also for the team. I prioritize the coaching staff and my team members because for me, a team is like a family.

I am a disciplined and hard-working player who is always looking for improvement and is open for criticism on my performance. My playstyle is to use my speed, stamina, and awareness towards the midfield. However, I can adjust my play to any style, so if I were to join a team where the plays are more defensive I can perform well because to me the team's success comes first. I will adjust my style of play to make sure that the teams chances of winning are up to the max percentile.

Academically, my GPA as of my Junior year is 5.01. I have taken AP, honors, and college level courses through my high school years, maintaining my spot in the 5% of my grade level. I will be entering my Senior year where I will be taking pure college level courses and will continue to pursue great academic results as I look to join a University soon since I will be graduating in 2024.
