As a student-athlete being able to play the sport you love for a long time is a the goal you want to achieve. The biggest thing that has influenced me to be who I am are my parents. They are the ones who have raised me to be the person I am today. I became interested in soccer when I was young when I saw some kids playing it at a park. I was intrigued and I decided to give it a shot. I've learned a lot of thing about me and just things in general through playing soccer. I learned about what it means to be part of a team and how to work with your team, and also what it means to have a good work ethic.
Academics is very important to me because I know I won't be able to play soccer the rest of my life. My goals in high-school is to make all A's throughout the four years i'm in highschool, and to finish as valedictorian, and for college I want to earn scholarship, and earn a master's degree when I finish college. As an athlete I've had to overcome many obstacles to get where I am today. They vary from injuries all the way to finding the right team for me. Some skills I possess are being able to find the run and make it, and a characteristics are that i'm fast and smart when it comes time to play. Overall I want to succeed in both sports and academics, and I know I can be a leader on your team.
