I thank God for the gifts and talents He has given me. Soccer was not my first love. As a child, I was focused on Tae Kwon Do and achieved my Black Belt by age 10. In Tae Kwon Do, I learned that there are no short cuts to success. I needed discipline and dedication to achieve my goals. But when I watched the energy of a World Cup match with my family, a fire was lit in me. My agility and speed came with me to my new passion. Since then, I have started and captained for most of my teams. My family’s military influence has enabled me to be a natural leader on and off the pitch.
During the match, you can trust my leadership on the field, precision with freekicks, accuracy with corner kicks, and speed on the break. My teams usually utilizes me as a forward, but I am as comfortable midfield or back. My runs down the line for the cross have set-up many of my teammates for the goal.
Off the field, I am consistently on the Honor Roll, involved with church, and hanging out with friends. Little know fact, I am a World Cubing Competitor and hope to soon break 10 seconds for the Rubik’s Cube.
I am looking for a college that will help me take my love for soccer to the next level, while obtaining a solid education, surrounded by purposeful and passionate fellow students that share my faith in Christ.
