My name is Ethan Brown and I am in the class of 2023 . In club I am the starting Left Wing Back in a 3-5-2. I am a strong defender who is very attack minded. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 and it's all I've thought about since. I have three younger sisters who all play as well. Both of my parents played collegiate soccer and have coached at all levels as well. So, YES, soccer has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember!
I play for Lonestar SC ECNL NTH U17B, and getting to this team was always a goal for me. I realized working hard for what I want is what I am in control of, and it pays off. In my sophomore year I was the starting center back and holding mid for my high school team, and I was voted Newcomer of the Year and 1st Team All District. In my junior year I started at holding mid for my high school team and was voted 1st Team All District. In my Senior Year I will be starting in my most natural position, Left Back.
I've always wanted to play college soccer. College soccer is another step in my journey towards becoming the best player I can possibly be. I strive to play for however long the game will let me, all while getting my degree. I know that being a student-athlete will not be easy but I am looking forward to all the things it will teach me about myself.
