Ethan Carrillo '23 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. I fell in love with the game and have dedicated all my time to the beautiful game of soccer/football.  My goal is to play at the highest collegiate level that I can achieve. I am a hard worker and I believe that my best attribute is my work ethic and my passion for the game.  When it comes to academics I work hard to keep my grades up and typically maintain A's and  B's. I am positive person, with a great work ethic on and off the pitch, and I am able to maintain my grades while playing both high school varsity soccer and ECNL for my club. I am dedicated and passionate about soccer and I have positive attitude in the classroom and on and off the field. I practice 4 days a week with my soccer club, 5 days a week with my high school, take private lessons as available and I practice on my own time as often as I can so that I can continually improve day after day. I am trying to be the very best athlete that I can be. I am eager to learn and have been lucky enough to attend several international football camps in Barcelona, London, Manchester, and Valencia. I am coachable and try my best to be a leader on and off the field. I am a captain for my club. and my varsity high school team. 

In my personal life I am passionate about animals and as a family we have 4 dogs and 1 ferret. Two of my dogs are rescues and I help my mom with the dog rescue she volunteers with doing transport, fostering, and attending events to promote adoption. Also, I enjoying swimming, going to the beach, and outdoor actives to include kayaking.
