Personal Statement

I take pride on being a dedicated student-athlete who is passionate about my friends, family, school, work, and wrestling. Upon meeting me you will learn that I am a leader in my mat room and love helping my teammates achieve their individual goals as well as the team's goals.

I want to be part of a program where I will be surrounded by similarly motivated student-athletes. I desire a culture which strives to win at the highest level and have a great time doing so. Not only do I enjoy cheering on my own teammates, but I also love to support my school and its other athletes. I take pride on attending every sporting event possible. I am looking for a school which values school spirt and has a student body similar to me.

I am passionate in everything I do and I'm looking for a team and school which embodies that same passion.

This is a 14 Day TECHNIQUE INTENSIVE wrestling camp that has drawn kids from over 25 different states in each year it’s been held. This camp covers the CORE of our instructional series, including leg riding over the course of 14 action packed days. The Dream Season Wrestling Camp draws many of the top high school and middle school wrestlers from around the map and our mats are packed with nationally ranked wrestlers and too many state medalists and champions to count. This camp operates like a college wresting room and has been developed by Nick Purler™ to be the best camp in the United States.

Coach Henson style of wrestling stems from his philosophy: Consistency Wins! Position wrestling learned through Repetition, Repetition, Repetition!!! The Intensive Commuter Camp teaches a variety of position-based techniques and skills that are necessary to develop wrestlers into champions. One-on-one instruction and interactive sessions are the hallmarks of the Wrestle with the Bull Summer Camps. Camp curriculum includes advanced wrestling techniques and mental preparedness, character development and more. Coach Henson believes through a positive attitude, mental toughness, technical enhancement and hard work, every wrestler can be the kind of champion they want to be.
