Chinedu Dike '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing soccer is a piece of me I want to hold onto forever. I believe that everyday is another chance to work on my craft, and to train my self mentally and physically. I give every moment I'm on the field my all, regardless of its competitiveness. Some would say I'm too competitive but I look at it as me pushing myself and the people around me to our very best. Don't get it confused though, the only person I'm in competition with is the person I was the day before. I strive to win but I also remember to have fun while playing the beautiful game of soccer. I'm only as good as my team and I'd want nothing more then for us to be the very best of the best. I don't leave that kind of energy on the field though, I push myself to raise and maintain my grades while learning new materials and strategies in the classroom. I  don't dwell on excuses but rather breaking down every obstacle that's holding me back from being the best version of a student athlete that I can be. I would love to have the oppurtunity to continue my academic and athletic career at the highest level.
