Lars Bergstrom '22 Recruiting Profile

As I've grown as a student and an athlete, I have constantly tried to follow in the acedemic footsteps of my sister, who is an exceptional student. While I yearn to exceed the expectations of my friends and family in the classroom, it is also important to me that I do my very best out on the field. Being one of the oldest students in my class, I've had to play with athletes who were a grade older than me. I had to learn how to hone in on a mindset that would allow me to outwit guys that were months, sometimes years, older than me. This allowed me to prepare for highschool where I would be playing with dudes of many ages. It gave me a pathway where I would make the Junior Varsity team with only 6 other Freshmen. I know what it takes to compete with the big dawgs, both in the classroom and on the field.
